Who is DoriBoop?

Hi, I’m Dorianne, a South African woman with Portuguese roots. I’ve always loved dressing up and won an award in college for “Wannabe Barbie”. Times have changed, but my love for dressing up is still strong. Apart from that, I’m all about yoga, dancing and baking delicious goodies!

I am a mother to four children, who keep me on my toes all day. I had maternity photoshoots with all of them and those precious pictures hold a very special place in my heart.

Living in Madeira, a small island, posed a challenge finding maternity outfits for my photoshoots and events. Ordering from abroad is costly, and tricky with an ever-growing bump. Not to mention the frustration of receiving an item of poor quality.

Sustainability is important to me, if we are only going to use it once, why not just hire it, not only are we saving our environment, but we are also providing a better future for our kids.

This is why I created DoriBoop.

Carrying a baby is a unique time, we may not always feel or look our best. However, we deserve to feel special, and celebrate our beautiful bodies which are working hard to create new life.

My goal is to help you find the perfect dress for your event, to ensure you do look and feel your best throughout your pregnancy journey.
